I don’t really work in my pajamas. Usually. But I could. And that’s the point when you’re a bona fide telecommuter. Sometimes it’s a beautiful thing. Sometimes it’s desperately lonely. Sometimes I just sit and wonder that in 20-some years as a professional communicator I’ve spent more than 14 of those WFH. (That’s the code my colleagues with “normal” work arrangements use on little signs outside their cubes when they choose to work from home for an afternoon or a day.)
What are the advantages of working from home? What are the pitfalls? How does it change your life? How does it affect your loved ones? Your career?
Welcome to what I’m learning (still) about the whole setup. Maybe others can teach me a thing or two, too.

Congratulations! I’m sure you will tap into a legion of WFH-ers who will enjoy, participate and contribute. “Working in my Pajamas” is a great name.
